Cozy hiking hut at the Salzburger Boden

The Salzburger Hütte looks back on a long history. Way before the Kitzsteinhorn was opened up with cable cars in the 1960s, the Österreichische Touristenklub (Austrian Tourist Club) had built the hut in 1878.

Today, the little hiking hut invites to enjoy local delicacies in its snug lounge or on its beautiful sun terrace amid an untouched, idyllic pasture landscape with scenic view of the surrounding threethousanders all the way down to the Salzach valley and Lake Zell. The hut also offers accommodation for overnight guests.
