World stars in the Kitzsteinhorn superpipe
The international top riders enthuse about the perfect shape of Kitzsteinhorn’s superpipe. After the exclusive pro training sessions, the pipe opens to the public on December 2, 2023. The Glacier Park on the glacier plateau also remains open. Depending on snow conditions, the opening of the Easy Park will follow mid- to late December.
Happy world stars at the Kitzsteinhorn Pipe Training Weeks
“I enjoy coming to the Kitzsteinhorn every time: perfect pipe, superb panoramic views of the Alps and fast rounds – my favorite place to train”, enthused freeski vice-world champion and X Games winner Zoe Atkin (GBR). Double Olympic champion David Wise (USA) added: “The pipe is just perfect. This is my favorite training camp of the year!”
The snowboarders were equally happy about the conditions: “We always have good vibes in the Kitzsteinhorn superpipe”, tells vice-world champion Valentino Guseli (AUS). “The crew is awesome and does all that's humanly possible to guarantee everything’s perfect for us. The transition is super-nice and ideal for fine-tuning tricks that you already master on the one hand and for learning new ones on the other. I’m already looking forward to next year!”
